Regular nonstop flights from DFW and IAH. Gunnison - Crested Butte Regional Airport is about a 35 minute drive from Crested Butte and is serviced by Southwest, American Airlines, and United Airlines.

Flights into DIA offer more affordable direct flights, as well as a 1 stop through Denver to Gunnison. DIA is about a 4-hour scenic drive to Crested Butte.

Affordable nonstop flights from DFW and IAH into COS, and serviced by Southwest, American Airlines, and United Airlines. COS is a little over a 3-hour scenic drive to Crested Butte.

Lodge at Mountaineer Square

The Lodge at Mountaineer Square is Crested Butte's newest luxury accommodations. Choose from one, two, or three bedroom condos, studio rooms or hotel rooms. The Lodge even has a four bedroom penthouse suite with breathtaking, aerial views of the valley. Amenities include enclosed heated parking and a business center. The Lodge is the heart of Mountain Square and only 100 yards from the Red Lady Lift.

The Grand Lodge

The Grand Lodge Hotel and Suites is only 200 yards from the slopes and offers exceptional amenities including, full-service front desk, on-site grab-and-go dining, and business center. The Grand Lodge is directly across from the main Transit Center, which provides free shuttle service to the town of Crested Butte. This full-service hotel features 228 spacious rooms and suites, most with resort kitchenettes.

Groups and families love the Plaza for its convenient location just 100 yards from the ski area's main lift, the Silver Queen. In one short walk, guests can hit the slopes or take in the action at the base area of Crested Butte Mountain Resort. About the Couple

The Beginning

It all began in 2012. Peyton was a cheerleader at Fort Bend Christian in Houston, Texas and Andrew was a member of the High School football team. Peyton had been eyeing Andrew from the sidelines for most of the season and under the Friday night lights after a game, she decided to make her move by approaching Andrew: “Hey I like you and you like me, so will you be my boyfriend already?” Following that, the two were inseparable. From Andrew’s loving and caring disposition, to his loyalty and intellect, it didn’t take long for Peyton to know he was the one.

Their sideline romance led Peyton and Andrew to attend college at the University of Houston, where their bond only grew stronger and deeper. Their relationship was quickly extended to their families, who grew incredibly close and enjoy going on hunting / fishing trips all together, and spending time at their beach house in Rockport, Texas. Family is so important to the both of them so it was a no-brainer that Andrew would pop the question with them in mind.

A Romantic Proposal

On December 12, 2021, Andrew led Peyton through his parents backyard covered in rose petals, candles and a huge illuminated sign that read “Marry Me?” To no surprise, Peyton said “YES!” Both of their families and close friends started cheering and crying from the upstairs balcony. The romantic evening (that Peyton recalls as “more beautiful and perfect than she could have ever dreamed of”) was surely a night to remember for the both of them. After twelve years, Peyton and Andrew are finally making their way down the aisle!
